1. Purpose of Agreement
This Agreement reserves the above-named puppy (“Puppy”) for the Buyer upon receipt of the $500 non-refundable reservation fee. The Puppy will remain with the Seller until it is ready to leave at approximately 10 weeks of age.
2. Reservation Fee (Non-Refundable)
The reservation fee holds the Puppy exclusively for the Buyer and is non-refundable and non-transferable to another puppy for any reason, except in the event of illness, injury, or death of the Puppy while in the Seller’s care. In that circumstance only, the Buyer will receive a full refund of the reservation fee.
3. Balance and Payment Terms
The remaining balance must be paid before or on the scheduled pickup date. Buyer may pay the balance by cash on the day of pickup or in advance through the other payment methods. The Puppy will not be released until payment is made in full and cleared.
4. Failure to Pay or Complete Pickup
If the Buyer fails to appear on the scheduled pickup date, the Buyer will have three (3) calendar days to reschedule pickup. If the Buyer does not complete pickup within that 3-day period, the Buyer forfeits the Puppy and all monies paid, including the reservation fee and any additional payments. The Puppy may then be sold to another party, and no refund will be issued for any reason.
5. No Size, Weight, or Color Guarantee
The Seller does not guarantee the Puppy’s adult size, weight, coat, or color. No refund will be issued due to changes in projected size or appearance as the Puppy matures.
6. Refunds and Chargebacks
Except as stated in Section 2, no refunds will be issued for any reason. Buyer agrees that the reservation fee compensates the Seller for potential lost sales and for holding the Puppy off the market. Buyer further agrees not to dispute, reverse, or charge back any payment made under this Agreement.
7. Age of Release
The Puppy will be released to the Buyer no earlier than 10 weeks of age, at the Seller’s discretion, based on the Puppy’s health, development, and readiness.
8. Agreement and Acknowledgment
By signing or typing their name below, the Buyer agrees to all terms of this Contract, and such signature or typed name shall be valid and binding as a handwritten signature.
