Health Guarantee

1. Health Guarantee
The Seller guarantees that the above puppy is free from life-threatening congenital defects for a period of one (1) year from the date of birth. A “life-threatening congenital defect” is defined as a hereditary or genetic condition that severely impairs the puppy’s quality of life or results in death, as diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian. This guarantee applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Puppies are sold as pet quality, with no guarantee regarding show potential, breeding ability, temperament, or adult size.

2. Initial Veterinary Examination
The Buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) business days of receipt.
• Failure to complete this examination, or to notify the Seller of any health concerns identified at that visit, will void this guarantee.
• The Buyer must contact the Seller within 24 hours if the puppy becomes ill or shows a significant loss of appetite prior to the initial examination.

3. Reporting a Congenital Defect
If a congenital defect is diagnosed that seriously affects the puppy’s health or requires euthanasia:
• The Buyer must notify the Seller immediately and provide a written veterinary report from a licensed veterinarian.
• The puppy must not be euthanized without the Seller’s written consent.
• The puppy must be returned, uninjured and unharmed, along with all registration papers and veterinary records, within three (3) business days of diagnosis.
• In the event of death prior to the initial examination, the Buyer must submit a veterinary necropsy report stating the cause of death.
• Failure by the Buyer to complete any of the above requirements within the stated timeframes will void this guarantee in its entirety.

4. Care Requirements
To maintain this guarantee, the Buyer agrees to provide:
• A high-quality, age-appropriate diet and fresh water at all times
• Routine veterinary care, including vaccinations and parasite control
• A safe living environment with proper shelter
• Reasonable protection from injury, extreme temperatures, and unsafe conditions

The Buyer agrees the puppy will not be taken to dog parks, pet stores, or other high exposure

areas until the puppy has completed its veterinarian-recommended vaccination schedule.

This guarantee will be void if the puppy becomes ill or injured due to neglect, unsafe exposure,

Lack of routine vet care, or improper nutrition.

5. Exclusions
This guarantee does not cover:
• Cosmetic or non-life-threatening conditions (e.g., retained baby teeth, mild patellar luxation grades 1–2, over/underbite, non-erect ears)
• Conditions commonly corrected during spay/neuter (e.g., undescended testicles, small hernias)
• Treatable or environmentally caused conditions (e.g., hypoglycemia, coccidiosis, giardia, internal or external parasites, or viral/bacterial infections contracted after leaving the Seller)
• Physical conditions caused by injury, neglect, malnutrition, accident, abuse, or failure to maintain routine veterinary care

If the puppy is female, she must not be bred prior to ten (10) months of age, or this guarantee is void.

6. Remedy
If the puppy is diagnosed with a covered life-threatening congenital defect:
• The Seller will provide a replacement puppy of comparable quality when available, upon return of the original puppy.
• No veterinary expenses, shipping expenses, or other costs incurred by the Buyer will be reimbursed.
• The Seller reserves the right to obtain a second veterinary opinion before honoring any claim.

Whether a replacement is granted or denied, all veterinary and care expenses after the puppy leaves the Seller’s possession are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

7. Entire Agreement
This document constitutes the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, or agreements. Both parties acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this guarantee.
